Dell XPS 13 review (2018): Still the best Windows laptop

Dell's latest XPS 13 doesn't stray from the line's high standards. It's fast, slim and sturdy. Sure, the company didn't change much, but it didn't really have to.

Still gorgeous thanks to the InfinityEdge screen ; A bit lighter and slimmer than before ; Supports external GPUs ; Display now supports HDR

You’ll pay for the 4K display in battery life ; No traditional USB ports or full-sized SD card reader

And it's officially hosted in Las Vegas.

Dell XPS 13 (2018) hands-on review

Dell's all-new XPS 13 freshens up the hardware, but doesn't lose the magic.

Thin and light ; Still attractive, now available in white ; 4K display looks spectacular ; Keyboard feels great

Battery is smaller than before

Dell XPS 13 (9370)

A new rose gold and white color scheme—well worth an extra $50—makes the Dell XPS 13 a stunning fashion statement, and it's backed by strong performance and a svelte but sturdy build.

Elegant, compact design. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports plus USB-C.

No HDMI or USB Type-A ports. 4K display means shorter battery life than its predecessor. Webcam looks up your nose.

Bottom Line: A new rose gold and white color scheme—well worth an extra $50—makes the Dell XPS 13 a stunning fashion statement, and it's backed by strong performance and a svelte but sturdy build.

Dell’s new XPS 13 comes with a new design and new compromises

Dell finally redesigns its flagship laptop and makes some unfortunate changes along the way

Super compact design ; Great performance ; Comfortable keyboard and trackpad

Middling battery life ; Limited port selection ; Terrible webcam

If you can get over all of that (which, admittedly, is a lot), then the XPS 13 rewards with great performance, a lovely display, and an attractive, very portable package. Had Dell combined those features with the best of the prior generation — namely a...

Dell XPS 13 review: The best ultraportable ever?

The Dell XPS 13 is a lot thinner than the last version, and has a neat new fingerprint scanner built into the power button. Even the entry-level

Slimmest XPS 13 ever ; Excellent screen quality ; Great build quality ; 3x USB-C sockets

Shorter battery life than predecessor ; USB-C connections only

Fantastic Full HD screen ; Thinner and lighter than before ; Superb all-round build quality

Battery is smaller this time ; Still a costly machine

Royalty among Windows laptops, this is an ultraportable we wish we could keep for good

Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition 9370 review

A truly top-notch Linux laptop…

Fantastically portable ; Excellent performance levels ; Class-leading 4K display ; Comfortable keyboard

Disappointing webcam ; No USB-A ports ; Touchscreen model is susceptible to glare

It barely seems possible but Dell has made its flagship laptop even better by reducing the size and weight, bumping up the processor and packing in a 4K screen. No other Linux laptop compares.

Dell XPS 13 review

Crossing I's and dotting T's on the best laptop

Centered IR webcam ; Gorgeous new design ; Beautiful optional 4K display ; Impressive performance

Steeper starting price ; White option is pricier ; Still gotta’ move that webcam

Moving the webcam position, adding facial login and a four-mic array, giving Intel’s chips more headroom to perform even better and adding a 4K screen have all evolved the XPS into an even more formidable flagship laptop. In directly addressing the...

Dell XPS 13 (2018) review: The smallest, most powerful Ultrabook available today

This 2018 model raises the bar yet again, providing exceptional performance in a premium package that's worth every rupee you'll spend on it.

If you’re looking for the best Ultrabook in India, you only have one option, and that’s the Dell XPS 13. This 2018 model raises the bar yet again, providing exceptional performance in a premium package that’s worth every rupee you’ll spend on it. This...

Dell XPS 13 9370 (i5-8250U, 4K UHD) Laptop Review

To InfinityEdge and beyond. Dell dauntlessly doubles down on its InfinityEdge design and the race for an even thinner Ultrabook. The end result is a noticeably smaller and more visually attractive offering that doesn't do much else significantly better...

measurably more CPU performance from Dynamic Power Policy ; smallest 13.3-inch notebook in terms of footprint ; attractive design; very high screen-to-body ratio ; very quiet under low-medium processing loads ; easy serviceability; upgradeable M.2 SSD...

display could have been better calibrated out of the box ; Transfer rates from Toshiba NVMe SSD can be unsteady ; very slow black-white and gray-gray response times ; no more USB Type-A ports and full-size SD reader ; awkward front-facing camera...

Is the XPS 13 9370 unequivocally better than the XPS 13 9360? It’s a step forward in a number of aspects while other areas of the series haven’t improved. Battery life, for example, is largely the same if not worse as are the keyboard keys, display...
