Fujifilm X-E3 review

The Fujifilm X-E3 sacrifices very little to bring professional style and performance to a friendlier price.

Wonderful design ; Great image quality ; Strong lens ecosystem ; 4K video ; Great value

Lacks some direct access control ; No tilt screen ; No internal stabilization

With a higher resolution sensor, faster processor, much-improved autofocus, 4K video, and a sleek new design, the X-E3 is the true upgrade to the X-E2 that we’ve now been waiting years for. It’s a beautifully made, easy to use, and technically...

Fujifilm X-E3 review

The Fujifilm X-E3 introduces new features and functionality, some of which will soon be made available to other X-series users.

Supports Bluetooth in addition to Wi-Fi connectivity ; Faster AF-C tracking in zone and tracking modes ; Introduces Touch function to activate pre-assigned functions ; Smaller and more compact than existing X-E-series models

Top-plate Fn button can be knocked when adjusting exposure compensation ; Data port is USB 2 and micro-USB, rather than USB 3 and Type-C ; Doesn’t handle particularly well with large zoom lenses ; Fairly short battery life

Those who choose the X-E3 are unlikely to be disappointed with their decision. It’s a sound mirrorless camera that puts in a highly respectable performance.

Fujifilm Fujinon XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ

The Fujinon XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ is a light, compact zoom for Fujifilm cameras, and a very good option as a starter lens.

Compact, retracting design. Power zoom adjustment. Quick focus. Strong center sharpness. Minimal distortion. Optical stabilization.

Weak edge performance. Narrow maximum aperture. Plastic build.

Fujifilm now has three affordable standard zoom lenses for its X system (and one high-end option, the 16-55mm f/2.8). The Fujifilm Fujinon XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ is the least expensive, smallest, and offers the widest angle of coverage—all good...

Fujifilm X-E3

The Fujifilm X-E3 delivers excellent image quality in a slim body, making it a perfect option for photographers who like to pack light—as long as you pair it with the right lens.

Slim design. Excellent image quality. Speedy focus. 8fps burst shooting. Integrated EVF. Solid control layout. Crisp touch LCD. 4K video. Wi-Fi.

Omits in-body flash. Not weather sealed. No in-body stabilization. 4K footage shows rolling shutter effect. Display doesn't tilt. Pricey.

The Fujifilm X-E3 is a lovely little camera. It delivers strong image quality, right up there with other cameras that use the 24MP APS-C image sensor format, and won't leave you wanting for focus or burst speed. It's ideally suited for photographers...

Fujifilm X-E3 Review

The X-E3 is the company's latest rangefinder-styled mirrorless camera, a 24MP X-Trans model. The most obvious change is the increased reliance on a touchscreen, but how does this affect what it's like to shoot with? Our review explores this and more.

Fujifilm X-E3

If you're in the market for a Canon EOS M5 or a Sony A6300, FUJIFILM has a new camera for 2017 that you should definitely consider. The Fujifilm X-E3, replacing the outgoing X-E2, boasts a bevy of improvements, including a new image sensor, processor,...

Fujifilm X-E3 review

Fuji's hot streak continues with this ravishing rangefinder...

Small and lightweight ; Great autofocus ; Cracking image quality

Screen is fixed rather than tilt-able ; Can feel a bit imbalanced with larger lenses

A smaller, lighter and cheaper X-Pro2, the X-E3 delivers some excellent results with very few compromises

Fujifilm X-E3 review

Fujifilm's smallest X Series camera packs quite a punch

Rich and detailed images ; Tactile controls ; Refined handling ; Decent AF system ; Film simulation modes

Limited touchscreen control ; Battery life could be better ; Fixed display

Fujifilm might have shrunk the camera, but it hasn't sacrificed performance. The X-E3 is everything you'd want in a compact-sized mirrorless camera.

Fujifilm X-E3 mirrorless camera review: A great camera that's only let down by its price tag

Fujifilm is renewing its focus on the Indian market in a big way. Here is the review of its first major launch after the announcement, the Fujifilm X-E3

The company has priced the X-E3 at Rs 70,999 in the Indian market without any included lens, and the cost of the camera is pushed to more than Rs 85,000 depending on what lens one buys. The X-E3 plays on the strengths of Fujifilm by offering that...

Fujifilm X-E3 review: Retro styling, cutting-edge performance

Bar the odd niggle with button layout, Fujifilm's compact yet capable X-E3 handles beautifully and sports extensive features

High image quality ; Small size and light weight ; Fast and responsive autofocus

No integral flash ; Lacks weatherproofing

Bar the odd niggle about button position, it handles beautifully, while the extensive range of features leaves you wanting for little. Add very high image quality to the mix and Fuji has yet another winner in the X-E3.
