LG OLED65W8 hands on

LG's flagship OLED TV is back for 2018 and we've been hands-on with the second-gen slimline show-stopper…

The novelty factor of LG’s wafer-thin wallpaper TV still hasn’t worn off. It’s an impressive-looking telly that appears to not only match last year's model pixel for pixel but, potentially, exceed it.

LG OLED W8 Signature Series review

LG's 2018 flagship OLED adds Google Assistant and a high-end processor

More vivid colors ; Google Assistant built-in ; Dolby Atmos soundbar ; Four types of HDR

Same panel as last year ; No increase in brightness ; Soundbar is still 4.2

The LG Signature OLED W8 (OLED65W8) doesn’t rewrite the book on LG OLED panels - in fact, there’s no tangible improvement to the panel from last year to this year. But, that being said, several improvements to the software side of things, including a...

LG Signature W8 OLED TV review: Is this still the 4K TV to beat?

Powered by a new A9 processor, is the LG Signature W8 OLED TV the 4K TV to beat this year?

Perfect blacks, wide color gamuts, wide viewing angles, good brightness;HDR10, Dolby Vision/Atmos, HLG support;New A9 chip reduces noise and color banding;Responsive, low input lag good for gaming;Crazy-thin when wall-mounted!

Atmos advantage not apparent due to speaker restrictions;Similar picture quality could possibly be achieved with lower-priced models in the series; Not a huge jump vs. 2017's W7T;Google Assistant support still not available;Very expensive

TEST: LG OLED65W8 - Eksotisk veggpryd | Lyd & Bilde

LG OLED65W8
