Moto G8 Power Review | Trusted Reviews

Moto has made a speciality of mid-range smartphones at a reasonable price. We were very impressed with last year's Moto G7 Power, so can its sequel compare?

Massive battery;Reasonable price;Good camera;Decent screen

Poor screen;Takes a while to charge

Moto G8 Power review: The big-battery boss

If you want a long-lasting phone that doesn't cost a fortune, Motorola makes one of the most compelling options on the market.

Epic battery life is class-leading ; Capable of multiple apps performance - including gaming ; Smooth software adds genuinely useful Moto features ; Minimal bezel design impressive at this price

Pricier than predecessor - largely for sake of multiple cameras ; Chunky build ; Slow Wi-Fi connectivity ; No NFC for Google Pay ; So-so additional cameras

If you're shopping on a budget: the Moto G8 Power is the class-leading affordable phone with an immense battery. It improves upon the G7 in most departments - screen, design, storage - with its only real lackings being no NFC and slow Wi-Fi.

Motorola Moto G8 Power review

Another bargain battery behemoth?

Stereo speakers ; Good battery life ; Stock Android 10

No NFC ; Camera struggles in low lighting ; G8 Plus a better overall package

While the Moto G8 Power isn’t quite as impressive or affordable as its predecessor, and somewhat eclipsed by the G8 Plus, it’s still well worth considering if battery life is a priority.

Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite review: Big on battery, light on power

The cheapest of the bunch, is the G8 Power Lite the best-value Moto yet?

Affordable ; Long-lived battery ; Decent camera setup

Weak Mediatek CPU ; No match for the Moto G8

Well, if your spending limit is £150 and not a penny more, then the Moto G8 Power Lite is as good as it gets. But if you can spare an extra £30, you can get your hands on the best budget phone we’ve ever tested.

Moto G8 Power

The Moto G8 Power might not look like much, but its 5000mAh battery will last for days, which helps offset a dull design and mixed camera performance.

Motorola Moto G8 Power review: The budget phone that goes on and on

The Moto G8 Power is strongly recommended, but it's not quite the game changer the G7 Power was

Stellar battery life ; Solid performance ; Good value

Camera could be better ; Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T offers almost the same for less money

When the Moto G8 Power gets a price cut, it will be an enviable budget handset. Until then, you’re probably better off buying the now reduced G8 Plus or turning to Xiaomi.

Motorola Moto G8 Power is a budget phone with a HUGE battery

The successor to last year's G7 Power is here and its bigger and better than before

It’s a much nicer-looking phone as well and, if Motorola’s claims are to be believed, it should last even longer than the previous model. We’ll know for sure soon, anyway, because the phone will be available from the 20th of February. We can’t wait to...

Motorola Moto G8 Power hands-on: it just runs and runs and runs | AndroidPIT

After the Moto G8 Plus, the Moto G8 Power is the second Motorola smartphone in the classic G series. Will the G8 Power become a permanent fixture again?

For the time being, the Moto G8 Power makes a very good impression, as it is a very persistent Android smartphone for under €250. So the job is kind of done here. The Moto G8 Power has to prove in real-life test now that it not only runs and runs, but...
