Samsung Galaxy A51 review: Wait for a price drop

Samsung's Galaxy A51 packs a great screen, a handful of cameras, and a big battery -- what more could you ask from a mid-range smartphone? Well, more consistent performance, for one. Despite using a reasonably powerful chipset, the A51 is often plagued...

Excellent design ; Big and beautiful AMOLED screen ; Flexible multi-camera system

Laggy performance ; Camera quality is largely unremarkable ; Mediocre battery life

Sure, the Pixel 3a XL and the iPhone SE lack the A51’s panache, but they’re just nicer to use . And hey -- if you’re really itching for a Samsung phone and have some latitude in your budget, the slightly more powerful Galaxy A71 might be a better...

Samsung Galaxy A51 review: All about the display

The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a lot going for it, including an awesome display and decent camera -- but can it compete with the iPhone SE and Pixel 3a?

Modern design ; Excellent display ; Good photos with enough light ; Good battery life ; A headphone jack

Lackluster performance ; Slower fingerprint sensor ; Won't receive OS updates quickly

It's the perfect iPhone SE rival in every way but one.

Samsung Galaxy A51 Review

Excellent display ; Solid cameras ; Good battery life

Underwhelming performance ; Not waterproof ; Fingerprint sensor doesn’t work well

At $400, Samsung's Galaxy A51 has a gorgeous display, good cameras, and a battery that will easily get you through the day, but it can use a boost in the processor department.

Samsung Galaxy A51 review: one out of three ain’t bad

The first $399 Android phone to take on the iPhone SE.

Great 6.5-inch OLED screen ; Headphone jack ; Nice build quality

Camera isn’t anything special ; Battery life isn’t what it could be ; Slow

Making a good $400 phone is difficult, and none of them can be awesome across every possible metric. But you want at least a few parts of the phone to feel like they came from something much pricier. Except for the screen, not enough of the Galaxy A51...

Samsung Galaxy A51 review: A mid-ranger with plenty of polish

The Galaxy S51 is a mid-range Samsung phone bringing with it some real highlights. But is this the next Galaxy phone for you?

Great display ; High quality looks ; Good main camera performance in most conditions ; Solid battery life ; Under display fingerprint scanner

Lacks overall power ; Some lag in usage ; Single speaker limited ; Easy to block Bluetooth antenna and cause cut-out ; Quad cameras oversell themselves a little

A great design and screen are the big sells of this mid-ranger, which performs generally well but can struggle a little when it comes to gaming tasks. Otherwise the clean software experience makes for a generally polished and affordable choice.

Samsung Galaxy A51 review

Fully featured, at a nice price

Gorgeous, punchy AMOLED screen ; Snazzy design ; Full One UI 2.0 experience

Stuttery at times ; Average battery life ; Photo results mixed

Others may offer stronger performance, battery life and camera results, but the Galaxy A51 is bursting with great features and excels for movies and music

Galaxy A51 is priced at Rs 23,999, and its highlights are its 48 MP quad camera setup and 4,000 mAh battery.
