Samsung Galaxy S10 Review: The best Galaxy? | Trusted Reviews

Samsung Galaxy S10 Review: We put Samsung's latest flagship, the Galaxy S10, through its paces; complete with camera, battery and performance testing.

Smaller than lots of other flagships, without sacrificing features ; Versatile camera that reliably takes excellent pictures ; A lovely screen that’s fantastic for video

One UI is full of bloatware ; Battery life is middling

While the Samsung Galaxy S10 doesn't excel in any one specific area, the collective package makes for an incredibly capable offering – which I'm sure was Samsung's aim in the first place. It sports a stunning OLED screen, versatile camera and a number...

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Review: Hands on with the first 5G Samsung

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G: First impressions of Samsung's 5G connected device and how it compares to other phones in the S10 series.

In many ways, this is the ultimate version of Samsung's 2019 flagship device. It's got the largest screen, most cameras and biggest battery. If you're planning on fully embracing 5G this year it'll likely be one of the best picks.

Samsung Galaxy S10 review: the complete package

The Galaxy S10 gets just about everything right, and is a stunning all-round package

Fantastic screen ; Super-fast performance ; Refined design ; Reverse wireless charging ; Strong camera system

Middling battery life ; Software can still be quirky ; Other S10 models

Samsung Galaxy S10

The midsize Samsung Galaxy S10 has all the attractive features of the S10+ for less money, but we still think the smaller S10e is a better buy.

Great screen. Fastest possible processor and LTE. Triple cameras with 2x and wide-angle. Headphone jack and microSD card slot.

Expensive. In-display fingerprint sensor has no physical guide.

The Galaxy S10 is a little better than the S10e in a bunch of ways, including more RAM, another rear camera, and that snazzy curved-front design. It's worse in one way, which is Samsung's in-display fingerprint sensor that I find harder to use...

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G review: To infinity and beyond

Think of it as the S10++, the 5G variant of the Galaxy is the largest and most powerful. But in the wake of the Note 10 does it make sense?

Great display ; Battery life ; Camera performance ; 3.5mm headphone socket ; One UI ; Lighter and smaller than rivals

No microSD ; Competition from the Note 10+ 5G ; Display cut-out ; Additional sensors of limited real value

It's hard not to view this 6.7-inch phone as an 'S10++ with 5G'. But it's an accomplished device. Sure, the cameras aren't pretty, and the Note 10+ throws a spanner in the works, but if it's 5G you want right now then the S10 5G is the option to go...

Samsung Galaxy S10 review: Not to be overlooked

In the current climate, cheaper handsets make the S10 almost too easy to overlook. But with top features and great software it's a cracking flagship.

Great build quality ; One UI software features ; Camera consistency and HDR performance

Battery life isn't the best ; Night shooting doesn't keep up with rivals

A compact and powerful phone that offers a great consistent experience. The battery life isn't great and the camera isn't best in class when it comes to mode challenging situations. The software remains some of the most mature and comprehensive making...

Samsung Galaxy S10 review

10th anniversary Galaxy is as close as Android gets to the complete package

Truly versatile three-lens camera ; Gorgeous display and top-notch performance ; Feature-packed in ways few rivals can match

In-display finger scanner not perfect ; Not the best battery life ; Price hike makes the S10e a tempting alternative

The S10 is better than ever. The mainstream Galaxy might now play middle child to more powerful and more affordable variants, but there's nothing else running Android that's quite as well-rounded.

Samsung Galaxy S10 5G review

The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has arrived in tandem with the new standard for superfast internet, 5G. It's one of the first of its kind, alongside the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G , Oppo Reno 5G , OnePlus 7 Pro 5G and the LG V50 ThinQ 5G , promising faster download...

Great screen for video and games Excellent stills and video camera It’s ready for the first 5G networks

Expensive Gets hot (Exynos version) Battery could be better (Exynos version)

The Galaxy S10 5G is a smartphone for early adopters who don’t mind paying for the privilege. Its huge display is great for videos and gaming, it’s a sleek phone despite its size, and Samsung’s UI is smooth. Just how good it is will come down to where...
